DPD France
The international network of DPD ("Dynamic Parcel Distribution") has more than 800 terminals in 40 countries, more than 24,000 employees and a fleet of over 18,000 vehicles. Under DPD brand we offer a fully integrated ground parcel service to over 200 000 corporate and private clients. DPD was founded in 1976 by 18 big German transport companies. The aim of this merger was to create a customer-oriented transport delivery system with improved service standards for business customers. The merger with GeoPost, a subsidiary of the French La Poste, in April 2001 strengthened DPD's long-term integrity, stability and guarantee of future growth.
